Three years ago, the people of Gaza tore through the walls of the world's largest open-air prison. They did not beg for their freedom, they seized it.
An imprisoned people, besieged and sanctioned for decades, armed with conviction, broke out and struck at the heart of the settler-colonial project. The myth of zionist invincibility — the myth that Western imperial backing, advanced weaponry, and total surveillance would crush any resistance — collapsed in a single day.

That is the rupture. That is what shifted. For every oppressed people on this earth, the horizon moved. Not a distant hope, but a concrete, lived demonstration that the colonizer is not invincible, that the prison is not eternal, that the wall can fall, that refugees can return to their homelands after being displaced for over 80 years.

And so 7 October became our beacon of steadfastness. It lit the path for every people who have been told their liberation is impossible, who have been told to wait, to negotiate, to be patient, to be reasonable. It shows the world that the means are in our hands. The dream is rightfully ours, and surrender is never an option.
7 October made that visible. It moved the world past solidarity as charity or sympathy from a safe distance. It moved us toward understanding that our lives around the world are intertwined. That the liberation of the Global South, from Congo to Sudan, from Haiti to the Philippines, from Abya Yala to Kashmir, is bound up with the liberation of Palestine. That the chains are different lengths but the same chains.

The Zionist colonial project did not begin on 7 October. Neither did the Palestinian resistance. That day was not an isolated event. It was the inevitable answer to a century of dispossession, siege, ethnic cleansing and genocide. It was a rupture long in the making; and a rupture the colonizer can never undo. The struggle continues: the ongoing, heroic fight for justice, freedom, dignity, and return.

We do not apologize for Palestinian resistance, their resistance is our hope, it is our promise.
We repeat and remember the words: "Resistance is not in vain, nor is it just a bullet fired, but a life lived with honor and dignity."

Generation after generation. Until total liberation. Flood the streets on 7th of October!
