In the morning of March 24th, a big-scaled police operation happened throughout Germany. Mainly in Berlin, in total 17 appartments and projects got searched by the cops, including the anarchist library Kalabalik in Kreuzberg, L5 Späti in Neukölln and Scherer8 in Wedding.
We see this operation of the state as a desperate attempt of showing off, considering the fact that even in media reports, they say that the investigators don’t expect to gain a lot from the searches. Instead, the raid is the result of a social climate shaped, among other things, by media smear campaigns against so-called left-wing extremism.
We know very well, that the attacked comrades and spaces – amongst others a library and an unemployed initiative – are not, like cops and politicians say now, “terrorists” or a “cancerous tumor” in the society, but providing social structures and aiming for a liberated world.
By targeting not ‘only’ some accused people but also many comrades, social spaces, a whole social structure, it becomes even more obvious that repression is never an attack on some individuals, but always on us as a whole movement.

Am Morgen des 24. März fand in ganz Deutschland eine groß angelegte Polizeiaktion statt. Vor allem in Berlin wurden insgesamt 17 Wohnungen und Projekte von der Polizei durchsucht, darunter die anarchistische Bibliothek Kalabalik in Kreuzberg, L5 Späti in Neukölln und Scherer8 in Wedding.
Wir sehen diese staatliche Aktion als verzweifelten Versuch, sich zu profilieren, zumal selbst in Medienberichten zu lesen ist, dass die Ermittler nicht erwarten, bei den Durchsuchungen viel zu finden. Vielmehr ist die Razzia das Ergebnis eines gesellschaftlichen Klimas, das unter anderem durch Medienkampagnen gegen den sogenannten Linksextremismus geprägt ist.
Wir wissen sehr gut, dass die angegriffenen Genossinnen und Räume – unter anderem eine Bibliothek und eine Arbeitsloseninitiative – nicht, wie Polizei und Politikerinnen jetzt behaupten, „Terrorist*innen“ oder ein „Krebsgeschwür“ der Gesellschaft sind, sondern soziale Strukturen bereitstellen und eine befreite Welt anstreben.
Indem nicht „nur“ einige Beschuldigte, sondern auch viele Genoss*innen, soziale Räume und eine ganze soziale Struktur ins Visier genommen werden, wird noch deutlicher, dass Repression niemals ein Angriff auf einzelne Personen ist, sondern immer auf uns als gesamte Bewegung.
Wir solidarisieren uns mit den Beschuldigten und allen, die von den Razzien betroffen sind.
Staat und Kapital sind die einzigen Terroristen.
